Introduction to Mindfulness

At Psychology Wales we offer a six week evening Introduction to Mindfulness course at our Newport office run by an experienced Mindfulness trainer.

The course is suitable for people interested in how to begin and develop a mindful practice in a practical, down to earth way, consider the benefits of doing so and at the end of six weeks be confident in their mindfulness journey.

Mindfulness is a way of paying attention in the present moment in a non-judgemental and compassionate way.

Mindfulness can be successfully learned and practiced by people of all ages and backgrounds. No prior experience is necessary.

Class details

Each class is held in the evening at our offices in Newport and lasts for one and a half hours. Home practice support materials are included. Each attendee receives a free Introduction to Mindfulness book and CD.

Corporate Mindfulness courses

Alternatively, we offer a variety of packages for organisations where we are able to teach mindfulness at your place of work. Packages are designed to fit with your company requirements and can be either:
